Product Description

Welded steel pipes with hot dip coating or electric-galvanized coating on the surface of galvanized steel pipes. Galvanizing can increase the corrosion resistance of steel pipes and prolong their service life. Galvanized pipes are widely used, not only as pipelines for water, gas, oil and other general low-pressure fluids, but also as oil well pipes and oil pipelines in the petroleum industry, especially in offshore oil fields, oil heaters, condensation coolers, tubes for coal distillation and washing oil exchanges in chemical coking equipment, and tubes for trestle pipe piles and support frames in mine tunnels.

Different apply solution designed with different steel tubes, usually in square and round forms. As an important part of steel instruction, the square or round tubes require high straightness and distortion. We strictly control the dimension accuracy and surface flatness of hot rolled coils from the material link, and then cut and twist the coil twice after the production of steel tube is completed. Straightening to ensure that our products fully meet the requirements of the drawings.Pipe material is Q355 or S355. Hot galvanizing or pre-galvanizing can be selected according to customer’s requirements. 

Hot dip Galvanized Pipe is to make molten metal react with iron substrate to produce alloy layer, so that the substrate and coating can be combined. Hot galvanizing refers to pickling the Steel Pipe first. In order to remove iron oxide on the steel pipe surface, after pickling, the steel pipe is cleaned in ammonium chloride or zinc chloride aqueous solution or mixed ammonium chloride and zinc chloride aqueous solution tank, and then sent to the hot dip tank. Hot dip galvanizing has the advantages of even coating, strong adhesion and long service life. Most of the processes in the north adopt the zinc strip direct coil zinc supplement process.

Cold galvanizing refers to electro galvanizing. The amount of galvanizing is very small, only 10-50g/m2, and its corrosion resistance is much different from that of hot-dip galvanized pipe. In order to ensure the quality, most of the regular galvanized pipe manufacturers do not use galvanization (cold plating). Only those small enterprises with small scale and outdated equipment adopt galvanization, of course, their prices are relatively cheap. In the future, it is not allowed to use cold galvanized pipes as water and gas pipes.
Complex physical and chemical reactions occur between the steel pipe substrate and the molten plating solution to form a corrosion resistant zinc iron alloy layer with compact structure. The alloy layer is integrated with the pure zinc layer and the steel pipe matrix. Therefore, it has strong corrosion resistance.
