Product Description
Galvanizing has the advantages of uniform coating, strong adhesion and long service life.This galvanized coil has good paint
adhesion and weldability.Galvanized Steel Pipe is a welded Steel Pipe with hot dip coating or galvanized coating. Galvanizing
improves the corrosion resistance of the steel pipe and extends the service life.
Hot dip Galvanized Pipe is to make molten metal react with iron substrate to produce alloy layer, so that the substrate and coating can be combined. Hot galvanizing refers to pickling the steel pipe first. In order to remove iron oxide on the steel pipe surface, after pickling, the steel pipe is cleaned in ammonium chloride or zinc chloride aqueous solution or mixed ammonium chloride and zinc chloride aqueous solution tank, and then sent to the hot dip tank.
Strong adhesion and long service life. Most of the processes in the north adopt the zinc strip direct coil zinc supplement process.
Cold galvanizing refers to electro galvanizing. The amount of galvanizing is very small, only 10-50g/m2, and its corrosion resistance is much different from that of hot-dip galvanized pipe. In order to ensure the quality, most of the regular galvanized pipe manufacturers do not use galvanization (cold plating). Only those small enterprises with small scale and outdated equipment adopt galvanization, of course, their prices are relatively cheap. In the future, it is not allowed to use cold galvanized pipes as water and gas pipes.
Complex physical and chemical reactions occur between the steel pipe substrate and the molten plating solution to form a corrosion resistant zinc iron alloy layer with compact structure. The alloy layer is integrated with the pure zinc layer and the steel pipe matrix. Therefore, it has strong corrosion resistance.
